Invest the quality of painting materials

Finnish paints are known for their superior quality. What kind of paint is needed depends both on what it will be used for and on the degree of durability required. Trusting the quality of a paint to guarantee the quality of the end result is, unfortunately, all too common. Very often the customer or the retailer is taken aback by the cost of the paint and opts for less expensive painting tools to save money. Buying the cheapest alternative is very appealing. The customer relies on skill and a good paint combined to ensure a satisfactory result.

Some of the worst examples of poor tools are such extremely cheap products as one-euro brush sets. The brush does not absorb paint and the finish is not even. Furthermore, the painted surface is littered with loose bristle or bits of the fixative used to attach the bristles. At its best, manufacturing painting tools, especially paint brushes, is a form of art. Some brush models continue to be made by hand from start to finish. A machine cannot always match the unique sensory powers of a hand, used to make sure that painters can concentrate on their own works of art and leave looking after the quality of tools to us.
